The Organization of Asian Studies (OAS) is a graduate student organization and think tank at The George Washington University dedicated to exploring and analyzing Indo-Pacific security, politics, economics, history, culture, and various other aspects of international affairs.Our mission is to foster a deeper understanding of the Indo-Pacific region among the GW communityand with those whose studies or work focuses on the Indo-Pacific in the greater Washington area.OAS looks to increase awareness of the issues affecting the various countries of Asia, highlightinteresting and important subject matter not often covered in classes, and promote anunderstanding of these issues from a global perspective.
