Better known as OLAA, the Organization of Latin American Affairs was first established in 1977 out of a need to voice the issues and concerns that many Latinx students faced and held at Boston College. Today, the Organization is formed by and serves Latinx and non-Latinx students committed to the advancement of Latinxs not only at Boston College, but in the greater community. Through a variety of events and outings, be they dance workshops, facilitated discussions, or volunteer work, OLAA explores and promotes the different sides of Latinx culture and identity.
