Welcome to all PTA Club members! The PTA club is open to anyone interested in physical therapy. Accepted students to the PTA Program are required to be members. The PTA Club has an executive board consisting of PTA Program students. However, there are many opportunities for all to participate or lead a specific committee. During meetings, the PTA Club reviews current issues related to physical therapy, the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the Indiana chapter of the APTA. The PTA Club coordinates fundraising events with ITCC students and, at times, with other members of locally served communities, all of which align with the Mission of the PTA Club: education in the field of physical therapy, the role of the physical therapist assistant, and service for persons with disabilities. The PTA Club does not require club fees. PTA Program students are required to participate in all activities, including fundraising responsibilities. We host meetings approximately twice per month in the spring and fall semesters, usually after a scheduled course (Tuesdays or Thursdays). This is a great opportunity to meet with PTA Program students. It is also a friendly environment where you can meet people you might work with in the future! All are welcome. Please join us.
