Many universities feature pre-healthcare clubs that are focused solely on building a picture-perfect academic record in the STEM field. Medical schools, however, have recently emphasized that the best applicants are not only successful in the sciences but show commitment, zeal, and creativity across many other disciplines. The Pre-Health Student Association (PHSA) creates a space for this discourse within traditional and non-traditional majors, inviting all undergraduates seeking a future in the healthcare field to actively pursue their goals in academics, service, and extracurriculars as well as build lasting relationships with the Catholic University community.
