Project Glimmer has a very important mission to build confidence in young girls. As an organization we will volunteer to pack small makeup and jewelry care packs called Boxing Joys, that will then go to girls in the foster care system. These Boxing Joys come with a small messages from Project Glimmer to show that they are loved and supported. We can choose a program near us to donate them to. Project Glimmer also has wonderful events such as empower hours. As a club we will watch these empower hours together with snacks provided by the program, and will hear about success from powerful women who have broken the poverty cycle and are excelling in the business world. These programs allow for young girls to build important connections, and they are also provided with career coaching. As a club we are able to have an incredible impact on the lives of young girls, by simply devoting our time and packing the Boxing Joys.
