Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, was founded to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. Membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students of psychology who meet the minimum qualifications listed below. The Psi Chi chapter at GW provides activities to complement and enhance the Psychological & Brain Sciences (PBS) curriculum, and offers practical experience and fellowship through affiliation with the chapter. Requirements: AS OF FALL 2023: Psychology GPA requirement: 3.5 Overall GPA requirements: Seniors—3.67; Juniors—3.61; Sophomores—3.5 Must be a second semester sophomore (or equivalent to 45 course credits including AP & IB), Must have at least 9 credits in psychology courses Please contact GW Psi Chi at gwupsichi@gmail.com. *Please do not join unless you are a new inductee or current member without access.
