The primary purpose of PHSA is to increase the value of public health students’ education and experiences through events that promote student involvement, facilitate professional development, and inspire a sense of community. The activities of PHSA will enhance the image of the Milken Institute School of Public Health. PHSA is a graduate umbrella student organization comprised of the students at the Milken Institute School of Public Health. PHSA will collaborate with the sub-organizations at GWSPH on a regular basis to ensure that objectives are aligned. As the Graduate Umbrella Organization of the Milken Institute School of Public Health, PHSA will serve concurrently as a free-standing student organization and as a supervisory organization to provide information, guidance, budgetary advice, co-sponsorships (as available), event promotion, and other services for all sub-organizations.
