The Rotaract Club of Howard university is a Rotary International sponsored club. We work with local rotarians to serve the local Howard University community, the D.M.V. metro area and the wider international community. Together, rotaractors work side by side with rotarians to solve issues at Howard University, Washington DC Area and the world at large. Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.It is a non-political and non-religious organization open to all people regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation / identity or political preference. There are 35,000+ member clubs worldwide, and 1.2 million individuals. Rotary is dedicated to six areas of focus to build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.
