The School of Education Undergraduate Council is a student-run space to build community within the School of Education, to plan relevant events that engage and benefit SOE students professionally, socially, and mentally, to promote the School of Education to the American University student body, and connect SOE students to school administration and faculty to advocate for our interests.  While the council's mission centers on advocacy and programming SOE undergraduate students, it is open to all students who are interested in learning about, engaging with, and supporting the SOE community. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
