The ocean has forever impacted each of our lives in its own ways. As the founding members of Sea Eagles, our passion for protecting our oceans stems from the wonders and adventures that we’ve experienced through them. We’ve each been shaped by the oceans—be it scuba diving, swimming with sharks, surfing, kayaking, or something else, the oceans have come to define us and what we care most deeply about. We hope to share this respect and curiosity for our oceans with the BC community. By providing a space for students to discuss pressing issues that our oceans (and planet) face today, Sea Eagles aims to create a passionate group of individuals who are committed to advocating for the tragically neglected underwater world. Sea Eagles is dedicated to raising awareness for the threats that our oceans face, educate individuals about how they can actively protect them, create a space for students to share their oceanic experiences, and provide hands-on opportunities to protect our oceans and the animals that call it home.
