The Fundamental Purpose of Sigma Chi is the Cultivation, Maintenance, and Accomplishment of the Ideals of Friendship, Justice, and Learning within our Membership. Sigma Chi cultivates a strong bond within its fellowship, offering prospective members a chance to gain lifelong friendships and connections. We offer interested students a chance to meet our brothers each year during our rush, which is held in both the fall and spring of each year. Interested students should feel fee to come to events which will be posted on our Instagram page! Within the AU community, Sigma Chi is a strong presence in the engagement of all greek philanthropies. We also hold our philanthropy, "Derby Days", which raises thousands of dollars each year to contribute towards cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Research Institute.
