AU Sikh Student Association (AU SSA) is a religious/cultural organization open to all students that provides community and awareness of the Sikh faith at American University. We aim to foster a boisterous community for students by engaging in dialogue, advocating for issues impacting people in the States and worldwide, and creating awareness about spirituality and ideals for students here at AU. Through outings, volunteering, and events in collaborations with fellow AU orgs, AU SSA prides and roots itself in being a safe space for students to learn and connect with Sikhism. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits based on any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
