About Sister Sister
The mission of Sister Sister is to serve as a representative voice for American University students. While Sister Sister centers the experiences of female students of the African diaspora, the organization is open to all students and works to ensure that everyone is included in Sister Sister-related activities and programs. Students and allies who support our mission are encouraged to participate and get involved. Please remember that Sister Sister is open to all students. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
