SIAM is dedicated to promoting industrial and applied mathematics engagement within our campus. It will provide a platform for Howard students to engage with each other, with faculty, and with the larger mathematical community. Our SIAM chapter brings together students from various disciplines, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration that reaches beyond mathematics. As Howard University is dedicated to research and truth and service, SIAM aims to uphold both values by introducing students to research in applied mathematics and uplifting local youth through tutoring initiative.
