Founded in 2003, Sons of Pitch is GW's premier a cappella group and reigning Champion of Battle of the A Cappellas. SOP is comprised of tenor, baritone, and bass vocal parts. In 2019, SOP sang at the National Cherry Blossom Festival in front of thousands of attendees and for a national broadcast, and in 2019, 2023, and 2024, SOP sang the National Anthem at Nats Park for Washington Nationals baseball games. In 2025, SOP advanced to the Mid-Atlantic Semifinals at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella for the first time. In 2020, SOP released their debut EP, and their second EP, “With You I Belong”, was released in April of 2023. Follow them on Spotify at "GW Sons of Pitch"!
