The Boston College South Asian Student Association (SASA), is a student-led group that represents the countries of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. BC SASA provides Boston College students and faculty who are of South Asian descent, and/or those interested in South Asia, with an environment where they can meet, learn and participate in cultural events with others of the same interest. Through various events, performances, and social gatherings, SASA aims to deepen BC students' understanding of South Asia and highlight the vibrancy and warmth of these five cultures.
