Stitches at AU teaches students how to crochet, knit, and use other forms of yarn art, creates a calm and welcoming space for students to meet new people and form a sense of community, promotes slow and sustainable fashion, donates projects to causes including hospitals and homeless shelters, and introduces a new strategy of coping to college students struggling with stress and anxiety. Stitches at AU is open to all students, including all levels of skill and interest.
