The purpose of String of Pearls is to advocate for, educate, and empower individuals navigating reproductive health challenges, with a special emphasis on women of color. As a reproductive health organization, String of Pearls centers empowerment, awareness, and support by working to dismantle stigma, increase access to information and resources, and foster a safe and inclusive space for all. While the organization focuses primarily on the reproductive health needs of women of color, it also recognizes the importance of including male reproductive health in broader conversations around wellness, education, and advocacy.
