The Student Government Association, also known as SGA, acts as a liaison between the student body and the upper-level college administration. The SGA strives to voice student opinions on all issues that contribute to the betterment of the social and intellectual life at Ivy Tech Community College- Terre Haute. SGA provides opportunities to develop students' leadership skills by participation in a statewide leadership conference in the fall: SGA provides opportunities for students to interact with members of the administration; SGA hosts a variety of student events, such as Chat with the Chancellor, and various community service projects.
