The Student Government Association (SGA) is the representative governing body of the students, serving as the voice of the student body, and acts as a liaison between students and administration. The purpose of the student government is to hear student concerns and ideas and to bring that to the attention of the administration. There is a Campus President who sits on statewide and regional committees, and interacts with senior leadership, such as serving as regional representative on the statewide President’s Council as well as working directly with senior leadership. Campus officers sit on regional committees and interact with local leadership, such as the Chancellor and other regional administration staff. All interested students are encouraged to participate in their campus SGA in order to affect policies, procedures and express student concerns in their region and on their campus.
