The Student Philanthropy Council's mission is to foster a lasting awareness of and appreciation for philanthropy at Catholic University through donor interaction, student involvement, and alumni outreach. The council educates students on the importance of alumni support in order to create a culture of giving that will transition with students into their alumni years. This is accomplished through organizing events, campaigns, and other efforts. Through involvement with the University's development operations, members build the skills to become better communicators, fundraisers, and leaders—all skills that will benefit them during their time at Catholic and in their future careers.
