The Arbitration Brief is a student-run publication at American University Washington College of Law dedicated to the field of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). The Brief publishes cutting-edge scholarship, commentary, and analysis on both domestic and international arbitration. Our work explores a wide range of arbitration topics as well as developments in arbitral institutions, procedural innovations, and evolving issues at the intersection of arbitration, public policy, and transnational law. We publish two issues a year, both in print and digitally, covering a variety of timely, novel issues in criminal law written by legal professionals, practitioners, and scholars. We also regularly publish student-written blogs on our website. Participation in the Arbitration Brief and its AUWCL events is open to all members of the AU community, regardless of background. Our events, programs, and activities are inclusive and do not restrict participation based on personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
