Named after Jane Bolin, the first black female to be elected as a judge, the Bolin Scholars Society is dedicated to aiding black undergraduate students at predominantly white institutions in their journey to law school and encouraging black professionalism in the legal workforce, despite the lack of opportunities at predominantly white institutions. Open to all students. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
