The Criminal Law Practitioner is American University Washington College of Law's premiere criminal law publication. We publish two issues a year, both in print and digitally, covering a variety of timely, novel issues in criminal law written by legal professionals, practitioners, and scholars. We also regularly publish student-written blogs on our website. Participation in the CLP and its AUWCL events is open to all members of the AU community, regardless of background. Our events, programs, and activities are inclusive and do not restrict participation based on personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
