The purpose of the MSA is to serve the best interest of Muslims as members of the GW community. To this end, the MSA shall: promote unity and joint action among Muslim students; conduct social, cultural, religious, and other activities in accordance with Islamic values and teachings; arrange congregational prayers and Islamic religious festivals at appropriate times; create opportunities for Islamic education; and foster friendly and meaningful relationships with other student organizations to promote intersectional leadership, advocacy, and solidarity on campus.
