The purpose of this organization shall be to: a. Promote cultural awareness and diversity of Native American and Indigenous-related issues at American University. b. Provide a space for communication on issues of interest to the members and the local community. c. Serve as a representative voice for American University’s Native American and Indigenous community. d. Act as a liaison between American University’s Native American/Indigenous community and the Native American/Indigenous community outside of AU. e. Support smooth college transitions for members.f. Create awareness and support for Indigenous issues on campus and for Indigenous communities within Indian Country G:Open to all students. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
