The purpose of the Society of Women Engineers is to stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity. In order to fulfill its desire, purpose, and goals SWE will provide an encouraging atmosphere, act as a safe space, and networking opportunity for all female engineers and SWE allies on Howard University's Campus.
