The Sounding Rocket Team at GW

The GWU Rocket team comprises students from various disciplines and class years who unite with the common objective of designing a rocket to participate in the International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) annually. Our team is organized into four distinct subteams: Aerostructures, Recovery, Propulsion, and Payload. Each subteam contributes expertise in its respective area to the overall project. Additionally, we benefit from the guidance of a faculty advisor and two highly experienced mentors who provide valuable support and direction throughout the year.
