As a Campus Chapter of the Thomistic Institute of the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception (PFIC), we seek “[T]o promote Catholic truth in our contemporary world by strengthening the intellectual formation of Christians at universities, in the Church, and in the wider public square. The thought of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Universal Doctor of the Church, is our touchstone." We will invite and host public intellectuals from across the country to speak on various topics of Thomism. Additionally, we will host reading and discussion groups that emphasize different aspects of the intellectual life and of Thomism. Intellectual retreats will also be held. "Just as it is better to illuminate than merely to shine, so to pass on what one has contemplated is better than merely to contemplate". (Summa Theologiae, II-II.188.6)
