The Writer's Guild
Howard University
We are the largest creative writing organization on campus dedicated to reviving and furthering the great literary tradition at Howard University. We are open to all majors, all classifications, all crafts of writing, and all levels of writing ability. We are also home to the HU Black Birds Book Club, a book club centered on the Black literary canon. We host write-ins, read-ins, bookstore crawls, workshops, book launches, writing contests, author talks, National Novel Writing Month, and more.
