Treble in Paradise
American University
Treble in Paradise was founded on core values of gender inclusion and expression at American University. Since 2004, Treble has worked to create fun, beautiful music and life-long friendships among women, non-binary students, and students of all genders who are interested in our mission. Treble in Paradise is open to all AU students in both our performing and non-performing groups, we do not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status. Treble harmonizes in both the AU and greater DC communities. From singing the National Anthem at Nationals Park to caroling at the National Christmas Tree Lighting, Treble has had the opportunity to perform at numerous events across DC. Treble has even performed at the National Cherry Blossom Festival, Taste of DC, DC's Sing Into Spring Competition, and American University's Founder's Day Ball. Treble in Paradise has also sung on Fox News alongside the cast of the hit TV show “Glee,” and recorded with and opened for musician Ben Folds at the Baltimore stop on his 2009 national tour.Want to be a Treb?
