Weeks of Welcome

Our Weeks of Welcome program aims to connect you to some of the people, offices, and opportunities on campus and introduce you to our community before you begin classes on Monday, August 26, 2024. We have planned a number of events for you, beginning on Thursday, August 22nd in the afternoon. Additional activities include outdoor movies, meetings with your residence hall floors, campus tours, socials, your Class of 2028 picture, and more! After participating in Weeks of Welcome, first-year students will: be able to identify who they can go to for help/support in their residence hall understand the policies and expectations associated with being a Boston College student, including those associated with living in a residence hall recognize the variety of academic opportunities available at BC and how to find more information if desired be able to identify where/who they can go for academic advising and guidance on campus identify one or more people at BC they can go to for support or help know how to navigate around the BC campus (dining, transportation, website, MyBC, social media) feel an increased sense of belonging/identity within their residential, academic, or other BC communities
