Our purpose is to provide a platform for students at Howard University to express themselves creatively through poetry and spoken word. The organization fosters a supportive community where members can share their work, develop their craft, and engage in meaningful discussions about poetry's role in society. HUPoets aims to amplify diverse voices, promote cultural awareness, and inspire social change through the power of words. Additionally, we seek to create opportunities for collaboration, performance, and artistic growth among its members.
